Saturday night saw the premiere of Univore’s short film “I Dream the Video” at Heaven Gallery as part of the 2013 Chicago International Music and Movies Festival.
A crowd of somewhere between 28 and 1,000 people attended, most of whom made us absolutely blush with their cheers during and after the screening. We appreciate the appreciation.

Lead actor Marco Casale was there, too, wrapped in the very scarves he wore in the film, which he later tried to sell to various females in the audience as memorabilia before deciding to just give them away as gifts.

Marco, your star continues to burn brightly.

* “My favorite scene was where Marco eviscerated the chicken carcass. Speaking of which, was that one of those rotisserie jobs from Dominick’s? Either way, beautiful work.”

Univore made a movie.

Back in January, the good people at the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival invited us to submit an original short film to this year’s festival. We didn’t take the invitation lightly.

The result, on which our post production has just put the finishing touches, is called I Dream the Video, and it stars our friend and muse Marco Casale.

I Dream the Video also features new music written and performed by Univore with featured guest artist, saxophonist Louis Stockwell.

I Dream the Video is scheduled to screen on Saturday, April 20^th at 9:30 PM at Heaven Gallery, located at 1550 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL.

In addition, it’s going to be fun.
